On Monday, we welcomed Soren Ryder into our family. He was born on 9/29/08, at 4:31pm, weighing 7lbs 12oz, and 19 inches long. There were no complications with the delivery, and we are very blessed to have him in our lives. We are especially grateful for our family and friends' support this week.

Grandma with Soren. She and Nana have been a big help this week with Keira and gifts. Nana spent the night Sunday, and Grandma stayed Monday through Thursday.

We also had Soren's first well baby visit today, and he has already grown to 20.25inches, and 8lbs 1.4oz! We left the hospital at his birthweight, and since we were above it today, we don't have to go back to the dr for a whole month, Yeah!

Congrats to your sweet family! We are so EXCITED you guys had a little boy! It is so much fun having one of each! Soren Ryder is such a cute little guy! I signed up to bring you guys dinner next week. I can't wait to see you all. Keira is going to be such a good sister to her new baby brother!
Congratulations on your little boy! You may not know us - we're friends of Ryan's from BYU and we've been wondering about how to track you guys down for quite some time. Jeremy has been looking for a German-speaking engineer to work for him out here in Switzerland...it seems, though, that you've got your hands full at the moment. :) Anyways, we're so glad we found you and we'll keep checking back to see how the Christensen family is doing! Again, herzlichen Glückwunsch from all of us!
